The easiest way to explain what we do is to show you what the work actually looks like.
A 52-year-old comes through your clinic for her annual longevity workup. ApoB is elevated, Lp(a) is high, her father had a heart attack at 58. Her CAC scan comes back at 47.
What do you do with that?
The answer is real cardiology, and it depends on details that don't fit on a lab printout: her exercise tolerance, her diet, what she's willing to consider, whether the family history is one event or a pattern, how aggressive to be with her lipid management given her values and goals.
That's what HeartspanMD does. We work through cases like hers, one at a time, with the same care a thoughtful cardiologist would bring in person. Then we send you a written interpretation and management direction you can have a real conversation with your patient about.
What we do.
Independent clinics ordering advanced cardiac testing — CAC scores, cardiac CTs, ApoB, Lp(a), advanced lipid panels — often have the right data and no cardiologist to synthesize it. Waiting for an in-person referral can take weeks. HeartspanMD fills that gap.
We review the full clinical picture, help determine when advanced testing is appropriate, and return a clear interpretation and management direction your team can act on.
On the field
Longevity Cardiology is a field in active development. It lives at the intersection of preventive cardiology and longevity medicine. Some of what we know with confidence today will look different in five years. We try to practice with that humility built in.
How it works.
A 30-minute introduction call.
You explain how your practice operates, what tests you order, and what kind of cardiology support would help. We explain what HeartspanMD offers and where we're a fit. If we're not, we say so.
A short onboarding.
We agree on workflow, BAA, and pricing structure with you. Most practices are reading cases within two weeks.
Ongoing cardiology support.
You submit cases. We synthesize the full clinical picture — imaging, biomarkers, history, risk — and return a clear direction. Most cases come back within a day. The patient relationship stays with you.
Who this tends to fit.
Practices ordering CAC, cardiac CT, ApoB, Lp(a), or advanced lipid panels regularly. Direct primary care, longevity, functional, integrative, obesity medicine, or other cash-pay practices that take preventive cardiology seriously but don't have a cardiologist on staff.
It's less of a fit for high-volume practices that don't review cases individually, or for hospital systems that already have in-house cardiology resources.

About
A short note on training.
Internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at Penn State Health. After training, Dr. Kuzma worked as an attending physician in the Northwell and UPMC health systems. That's the clinical foundation.
Medical school in Europe at Jagiellonian University in Poland, with clinical rotations across several academic hospitals in the US during training, including UPenn, Cleveland Clinic, and the University of Rochester.
Board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology, with advanced training in cardiac CT.
He's currently pursuing the Longevity Docs certification and is active in the AIR Physician Academy for telemedicine training. Both should be completed by the end of the summer.
Based in Florida and currently licensed in 40+ states, partnering with independent clinics across the country.
